This movie purports to be a comedy. But it's about as funny as an STD. Lauren (Lauren Anne Miller) and Katie (Ari Graynor) are unlikely Manhattan flatmates, one – Lauren – being utterly square, and the other, outwardly, what your granny would call a floozy. But, when Lauren loses her publishing job, they set up a telephone sex line, and soon find out that they have more in common than they thought. Jeez. Was it for this – the right to bear dildos – that women marched in the streets? Tedious and repellent: avoid.
