An intelligent turkey, saved from slaughter by the president of the USA, is taken by helicopter to Camp David, where he develops a fondness for pizza and discovers a time-travelling machine called Steve in which he travels back to 1621, where he must persuade the assembled masses not to celebrate the invention of Thanksgiving by killing and eating turkeys.
No, I'm not making this up; that really is the plot. The fact that no one in the UK knows/cares about Thanksgiving is a problem, although a limp showing in the US suggests the home crowd don't care that much either.
More troublesome is the fact that anyone who's seen Chicken Run will wonder why they're not enjoying a well-constructed Aardman animation rather than attempting to make sense of this incoherent transatlantic trifle. Kevin Smith's long-time cohort Scott Mosier gets a co-writing credit, which may explain some of the more stoner-stupid elements of the script. Or maybe not.
