Schools in England: share your thoughts on the proposal to ban mobile phones

Mobile phones could be banned from schools in England, if guidance proposed by the Conservative education secretary Gillian Keegan is successful.

She is reportedly due to announce the guidance to the Tory party conference in Manchester on Monday. A government source told the Daily Mail that Keegan believes mobile phones “pose a serious challenge in terms of distraction”

We would like to hear from teachers and parents in England about their thoughts on the proposal to ban mobile phones. How does your school manage usage at the moment? Do you have any concerns?
